Italia Peretti
Designer, storyteller, and creative strategist based in Washington, DC.
How do you take something complex and make people actually care about it?
I've spent the last decade working across environmental nonprofits, higher education, media, and creative strategy to communicate ideas that matter in ways that feel visual, thoughtful, and engaging.
My work sits at the intersection of design, communications, research, storytelling, and internet culture — particularly how media and rhetoric shape how people understand sustainability, climate, public policy, and community.
I currently work at the University of Maryland, where I lead communications, storytelling, and creative strategy focused on natural resources, environmental economics, sustainability, and public engagement.
